Questions for the Chapter
Hey Delta Sisters!
No one has blogged since JANUARY! Time to start this up again, I think. We all need to get in the habit of checking the blog regularly.
I ordered $200 worth of Tri Kappa bags from J&S this week. That works out to 25 bags at $8.00 apiece our cost. I ordered a variety of colors, though I did NOT order black since that's so old school :). They should be ready in time for Province Convention on October 9th in beautiful New Harmony.
My questions for the chapter: 1. What price should we sell them for?
2. Who would be willing to go to Convention and man the booth?
(Officers will be in meetings).
I'm going to throw out the suggested price of at least $15/bag. If I was going to buy a bag like this, I'd be willing to buy something that's practical and attractive and in the $15-20 range. At $15, we'd make $175 in net profit if all were sold. Would that pay for one member to attend State Convention?
If they sell really well, we might consider taking prepaid orders with their preferred color choice while at Province Convention. We'd have to charge for shipping, though.
Think about these questions so that we can discuss them at the September meeting, or on this blog!
